Teen Therapy Online in California

School pressure, friendships, identity and big emotions can all pile up. Teen therapy is a space to be heard, without having to find the perfect words.

Care shaped around you

Weekly outpatient online therapy gives you a consistent space with a licensed therapist. We welcome teens and adults across California, including Bakersfield and Kern County, with a warm, trauma-informed approach.

  • CBT helps teens notice thought patterns and practice flexible responses.
  • DBT supports emotional regulation, distress tolerance and communication.
  • ACT helps teens explore values and build choices that feel like their own.
  • EMDR may be considered for distressing experiences after careful preparation.

Your clinician recommends approaches based on your needs and readiness, not a one-size-fits-all plan.

What to expect in your first sessions

Start with a free consultation call and therapist matching. During intake, your therapist explains confidentiality, learns about your goals and asks what helps you feel comfortable.

You can take time to build trust. Together you will discuss a plan, practical skills and what feels manageable between sessions. You do not have to share every detail on day one.

For Parents

Parents can begin with a callback request. Our team reviews legal authority to consent, relevant custody arrangements and whether telehealth is a good fit before scheduling intake. Send legal documents only through the secure intake process, not this website.

In California, some minors age 12 or older may consent to outpatient mental health treatment when the clinician determines they are mature enough to participate. Parent or guardian involvement is considered with the teen unless the clinician determines it would be inappropriate. Consent and information-access rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

We explain confidentiality, its safety and reporting exceptions, and what may be shared with parents before therapy begins. Insurance communications can also affect privacy. Parents can discuss general support strategies without expecting access to every conversation.

A small first step, at your pace

Request a free consultation call. You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Please do not include medical details, your date of birth or insurance member ID. We collect any needed insurance information privately by phone or secure intake. This form requests contact; it does not enroll you or verify benefits.
