Finding Therapy When You Have Medi-Cal

Lauren Dean, LCSW
Founder and Clinical Director · LCSW #110737

How to explore mental health support with your plan and what the Dixon Medi-Cal waitlist means.

Start with your plan

Your Medi-Cal plan or county behavioral health service can explain covered mental health services and help locate available providers. Ask about the options in your county and how referrals work.

Dixon is not accepting Medi-Cal yet

Our waitlist is a way to request contact when Medi-Cal openings become available. It does not verify benefits, enroll you in care or guarantee a timeline. If you need support now, ask your plan about current providers rather than waiting for us.

A waitlist is not crisis care

If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or call 911. Do not use a website form or waitlist for an emergency.

For general education only; this article is not medical advice and does not create a therapist–client relationship. Clinical services are provided under the supervision of Lauren Dean, LCSW #110737. Dixon is not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or call 911.
