Virtual IOP for Grief in California
Joint Commission accredited virtual IOP for grief that has settled into trauma or depression — for teens and adults across California.
How Grief fits into Dixon's program
Grief is not a mental illness, but when loss keeps you stuck — replaying, avoiding, or shutting down — it often overlaps with trauma and depression. At Dixon, we treat grief inside our trauma and depression program using EMDR, CBT, DBT, and ACT. The four modules (Safety, Thoughts/Depression, Emotions/Relationships, Building Your Life) meet grief where it actually lives, in the body and in daily life.
- For grief complicated by trauma, depression, or prolonged loss.
- 9+ hours/week of virtual group and individual care, ages 13–59.
- EMDR, CBT, DBT, and ACT — the same evidence-based modalities used across Dixon's program.
- Self-pay available now. Insurance credentialing in progress.
